Desert Cliffs - Steps/Workflow

Thumbnail Sketch - Just trying to get the general idea. Not worrying too much about perspective, just want to get the idea out.

Rough Draft - Figuring out what sort of shapes i want, paying attention to larger details, architecture, shapes of rocks, large plants, etc.

Cleanup - Cleaning up everything from the previous two steps, also adding smaller details, cracks in the rocks, smaller plants, also checking perspective.

Pen/Inking - I call it inking, but it’s all in photoshop and i’m mainly cleaning up the linework so it looks pretty. Adding a few more details, but making sure the textures all look right, and generally just making sure the linework looks nice.
